WELCOME

The paintings, on canvas and paper, as well as the drawings span my time as a painter. Most are off stretchers for ease of storage and so they will need to be re-stretched and framed. All offers will be seriously considered. They all need good appreciative collectors.

I studied with Sam Adler in his studio and at the Art Student League of New York. My interest is in the drama of inner life and the social life of people, the city and its impression on the mind, and the pleasure of what pigment and color can convey. Included are pictures on paper and drawings from the model in pen and ink. My influences include the cave paintings of Europe, as expanded by all the artists that followed, and the evolution of my own style. All have become a part of my art in the telling of stories with pictures, symbols, and paint. I hope you enjoy the show.
